Maybe a few tips on sailboarding? Sure thing! Like all water sports instruction on Brampton, it’s free. You can discover our very own coral reef by snorkelling the underwater adventure trail. Trips to the Great Barrier Reef can also be arranged or you might just want to explore the island on a leisurely bushwalk through the National Park.

Perhaps a round of chip and putt golf. Maybe take the mini-train to the daily fish feeding. Or how about a game of tennis or a few serves of beach volleyball? Then again, you could simply laze on the beach or by the pool.

Come the evening, you can enjoy live entertainment and on Saturday nights, join in the fun of the resort staff’s zany revue.

There’s a sensational seafood buffet once a week and regular beach Barbeques under the stars. Grab a snack or a cocktail at the Saltwater Café and Bar. And of course the Chef is always happy to pack a picnic for two if you want to get away to one of Brampton’s beautiful secluded beaches.

Bluewater Restaurant and Beach BBQ:

Three superb meals are included each day. The Bluewater Restaurant is the main dining area for the resort.

Full buffet breakfast is served from 7.30am to 9.30am, smorgasbord lunch from 12.30pm to 2.00pm and 3 course table d'hote or themed buffet dinner from 6.30pm every night.

The Restaurant serves a sensational seafood buffet once a week and a Wok On Asian night on Tuesday nights.

Taste-tempting beach barbecues are held regularly. No wheelchair access is available to the Restaurant.

Romantic private beach dinners are available (surcharge applies).

Aqua Lounge:
The indoor and outdoor bar is open daily from 10.00am to late. Serving drinks including cocktails, smoothies, coffee and snack food. The Aqua Lounge features evening entertainment (complimentary).

Private Sunset Dinner Cruise:
Experience a romantic dinner cruise for two and witness a magnificent sunset over the sparkling waters of Brampton Island. Your private cruise includes a seafood dinner and wine. (Surcharge Applies)

Sea Salt @ Brampton:
Our new romantic dining experience set on the edge of our unique seawater pool. Watch the sunset turn to starlight, as a five course menu including wines will be served to you and your partner whilst listening to the music of the ocean.

Private Beach Picnic:
Need some time for just yourselves? Take a boat ride to one of our many beaches with a bottle of bubbles, deluxe picnic chairs and umbrellas. Simply let us know when you want to be picked up and allow for sun, water, sand and romantic time.

Transfers

Voyages Brampton Island is located 32 km north-east of Mackay. Regular flights are available from all Australian capital cities to Mackay daily, with Virgin Blue and Qantas. Alternatively, fly direct to Hamilton Island with Jetstar and transfer to Brampton Island on a scenic flight.

A courtesy coach departs Mackay Airport at 11.00am to Mackay Marina. The boat transfer departs Mackay Marina at 11.30am and arrives at Brampton Island at 12.45pm. The return trip from Brampton Island departs at 1.15pm and arrives at Mackay Airport (via the courtesy coach) at 3.00pm. Bookings are made through Voyages.

All 107 rooms feature 1 Queen and 1 Single Bed, air conditioning and ceiling fans, a balcony or patio, ensuite bathroom with shower, telephone, television, complimentary in-house movies, clock radio, refrigerator, tea & coffee making facilities, mini bar on request, iron & ironing board and access to guest laundry facilities.

Palm Rooms
The 25 Palm Rooms are light-filled with bright interiors and comfortable appointments. The rooms have a tropical outlook, some with water glimpses and each with private balcony or outdoor area overlooking native gardens.

Palm Rooms are located a short distance away from the main beach and are close to all resort facilities.

Island View Rooms 54 Rooms - Set amongst native gardens, these rooms are compact and comfortable. Interiors are bright with a tropical theme and each room has a small private balcony or patio offering views to neighbouring Carlisle Island. Rooms are located within easy reach of all resort facilities.

Ocean View Rooms
21 Rooms - Designed to make the most of their stunning beachside locations, Ocean View Rooms are generous in size and have many appealing features.

Double sliding doors open out onto a large L-shaped balcony or terrace area allowing guests to enjoy ocean breezes and sensational views of the Whitsunday passage. Ocean View Rooms interiors are spacious and comfortable with modern furnishings and splashes of colour giving these rooms a relaxed beachside feel.

Premium Ocean View Rooms
6 Premium Ocean View Rooms are located right on the beach and offer the best accommodation views on the island. Rooms are modern with a king size bed, large and comfortable lounge chairs and contemporary furnishings.
