ISLAND ADVENTURE RESORT:

The Island Adventure Resort is currently being refurbished, with completion scheduled for March 2008. This 160-bed Adventure Hostel will be ideal for the adventure traveler.

Things To Do:

There’s so much to do on Fitzroy Island, from a stroll through the National Park walking tracks discovering breathtaking views of the island, to snorkelling the fringing coral reefs.

Experience the wonders of diving, swim from the tropical beaches or simply laze by the pool whilst sipping on an icy cool drink. There’s a multitude of things to choose from - you certainly won’t be bored on this island.

If you would prefer a guided trip, then you can also join a small boat trip which departs from the islands resort. They will be able to take you to the best spots, as well as offer information about the various types of coral.

Follow one of the fabulous walking trails around the island. The walks offer spectacular views across the island and the crystal clear sea. You also get the wander through the attractive rainforest, which covers the island.

Amongst the trees keep your eyes open for the local birds and reptiles, which can be seen all around the island.
